Welcome to the website of St. George Indian Orthodox Church Vancouver BC CANADA. Our church is a part of the Indian Orthodox Church under the Catholicate of the East with Headquarters at Devalokam, Kottayam.
Malankara Orthodox Church is an ancient Church of India and it traces its origin to as far back as A. D. 52 when St. Thomas, one of the Disciples of Jesus Christ came to India and established Christianity.
We are very grateful and thankful to the Lord for giving us an opportunity to witness the true faith and serve him in this foreign land with all our traditional thoughts and spirits.
Monthly Schedule
Every second Saturday of the month – Holy Qurbana 3:30 – 6:30 PM by Fr T U Jacob
Every fourth Saturday of the month – NO Qurbana, Evening Prayers and other activities 3:30 – 5:30 PM
